Coach Jim P joins Capital City Volleyball Club for the first time this season as an Assistant Coach with the 14s. He began coaching the sport in the 70s for adult teams and played during this time as well. In the 90s Coach continued as player and coach for indoor and sand leagues with IBM. In 2003 he led a middle school girl’s team to a conference championship. He is CAP I certified as of 2005 and received his first IMPACT certification in 2000.
Coach is a “volleyball junkie.” He competed in the intramural program at NCSU and “learned” the game on the beaches of California. He became a true student of this great game when his three daughters began competing in 1997, each of whom played at the collegiate level.
He loves the sport, loves the opportunity to teach the game and is truly excited to be a part of the CCVC coaching staff.
