Coach Kelly will be returning this season in two capacities with CCVC. He will Assistant coach with the 18's team and Head Coach with our D3 team.

Coach started playing indoor and outdoor volleyball in 1978 on the beaches of Southern California. Kelly played in competitive leagues for the past 20 years, including a 3-year stint as part of the Jose Cuervo Beach tournament series.

Kelly started coaching at an early age and enjoyed it as much as playing. He has extensive coaching experience with many sports and uses that knowledge to develop better athletes on the court and off the court. He was an assistant coach on club teams in Southern California, and helped improve his 16's club team from a 214 local ranking to 76.

Recently, he coached volleyball for the last 6 years as assistant and head coach at the club and high school levels. He led the Riverside Christian JV team to their only undefeated season on record, a remarkable feat considering 3 team members played the sport for the first time. He served as assistant coach of a 16-1 team in CA that jumped from a ranking of 214 to 76. Last year, Kelly coached the 18-1 team at CCVC. This team won 1 tournament and finished 2nd in their division.

Kelly owns and operated PlyoCity, which trains athletes of all sports to be quicker, faster, and more explosive. He has also worked as a Quality Control Engineer and for a sporting goods manufacturer and retailer.

Coach enjoys relaxing with his wife Colleen, playing just about all sports, going fishing with his 8 year old son Ben, and hanging out and talking volleyball with his daughter Tami.

Coach Kelly is looking forward to a another great season!!
