This will be Coach Linda's third year coaching with CCVC. She started playing volleyball during high school in Pennsylvania where she lettered in both JV and Varsity.
During college she played intramural volleyball, and post college Coach Linda has played ongoing in city recreational leagues in both Kentucky and North Carolina. While in Kentucky, her coed and women's open teams won several State Game gold and silver medals. Here in North Carolina, she plays primarily in the Cary coed open league. She prefers to play in the outside hitting position on the strong side but will play any position given her love of the game.
Coach Linda has assisted with several daylong skills clinics working with 10-12 year old girls. She is looking forward to becoming more involved in the coaching aspect of the game. Her primary goals for working with the CCVC Development team again this season is to help our young girls improve their basic skills, improve their passion for the game and teach them how to have good sportsmanship.
