As part of becoming a Capital City Volleyball Club member, it is required for all families to review, sign and submit a Financial Responsbility Agreement document.

The purpose of this agreement is to ensure that all Capital City Volleyball Club members and their parents have visited this website, read and understand the financial commitments and team responsibilities, are familiar with the financial commitments required to participate with Capital City Volleyball Club, and that their respective signature(s) affirms this understanding and promise to fulfill ALL necessary financial commitments to support their respective Capital City Volleyball Club team during the entire Club season.

This financial commitment and team responsibility is primarily directed at the Capital City Volleyball Club Competitive teams due to issues from past seasons on players and not fulfilling their "complete" committment to their team. As such, there are still portions that apply to our Capital City Volleyball Club Development teams.

This Financial Responsbility Agreement document includes a promise, from / by each family, that the Capital City Volleyball Club team their daughter plays for, may / will participate fully to all of the season tournaments, practices and as applicable, in additional tournaments that are over and above those paid from the REGULAR SEASON DUES.

The Capital City Volleyball Club budget is for planning purposes only. Dues are paid to the club as a whole and not to individual team accounts. Capital City Volleyball Club does not give dues refunds for any reason, including a team or a family decision not to attend a budgeted tournament. Teams can apply the cost of an unattended tournament towards another if done within the deadlines of both tournaments.

For additional tournaments, this may come about as a result of a majority team vote to attend more tournament events. Should this participation of additional tournaments result in additional costs to the team, from tournament registration, coaches pay and expenses, etc. that are over and above those costs covered IN THE REGULAR DUES, a prorated portion of these additional costs shall be paid by EACH family, to the Capital City Volleyball Club Team Rep, prior to registration for the event resulted that causes the costs to be exceeded. This is required to be paid immediately following a request from the Capital City Volleyball Club Team Rep.

Addtionally, this added payment is applicable regardless of whether a team player chooses to attend or play in the tournament(s) or not. For a Platinum / Gold / Silver or a –1 team, this includes support and committment to attending the Nationals event in July of each season.

Accepting an invitation for participation on a -1 Capital City Volleyball Club team requires fulfillment of this promise. It is possible, the Capital City Volleyball Club Executive board would impose consequences that could adversely affect a family’s participation with Capital City Volleyball Club, in the event the agreed to obligation is not completely fulfilled.
