The dues to play for CCVC varies depending on the Team Level (-1, -2, -3, Development). Information about these dues, coaches pay and expenses, the operation costs of Capital City Volleyball Club and very important, the parent Financial Responsibility form which is a requirement for parent to sign to demonstrate their commitment to paying for the costs of the season and of the team More information is also available in the Dues Summary, Dues Budget documents and the Coaches Contract.
The costs are typically as low as $400 to $500 for Development and as much $950 to $1500 for -1, -2, -3 for the Competitive Travel teams. A detailed budget, prepared each season, is shared with the CCVC member families at the opening General Membership meeting in November of each season.
Dues are collected in two (2) installments for the competitive teams and one full installment for the development teams. They cover mandatory CCVC practice uniform (new for the 2007-2008 season), Carolina Region registration, practice facility rentals, coaches' fees, and In-Region tournament registrations. Uniforms will be paid separately by the parents and players, or OUTSIDE of the club dues, and directly with the CCVC Team Rep / uniform company. These dues MAY not cover ALL of the COACH travel or accommodations for overnight or Out-of-Region tournaments and DO NOT cover the player/parents travel or accommodations.
For this season it is the responsibility of each player / parent to register the athlete with USA Volleyball via the choice on the Quick Links menu. Being USAV registered is NOT a requirement to participate in our tryouts, but is a requirement for joining a CCVC team. CCVC will be available to assist you with the USAV registration process during tryouts if needed.
