Parental involvement and selfless Executive Officer leadership is a mainstay of our Club. Without YOU there is no US.
It is up to the CCVC General Membership (you all) to vote and elect an Executive Officer term at the year ending General Member meeting to be held...on Sunday June 8th, 2008 at Cary Academy Dining Hall from 2-4 pm.

Overall, each Executive Board role provide selfless leadership and support for the Club's mission, while distancing yourself, as much as possible from the natural parental desire to "protect" your child. You must focus on representing CCVC with the highest degree of professionalism, integrity, ethics, positive support for the Coaches and fellow Board members and above all put the interest of CCVC and growing the sport of volleyball first.

Executive Board Service Exchange Renumeration or compensation is not offered for any of the Executive Officer postions, the Board (Coaches, Team Reps, Executive Officers) previously approved a dues discount for each of the Executive postions as follows:
- President 100% discount for 1 child at the dues value for their childs level.
- Vice President 50% discount for 1 child at the dues value for their childs level.
- Treasurer 100% discount for 1 child at the dues value for their childs level.
- Secretary 50% discount for 1 child at the dues value for their childs level.
- Registrar 100% discount for 1 child at the dues value for their childs level.
- Coach Rep 50% discount for 1 child at the dues value for their childs level.
- Webmaster 50% discount for 1 child at the dues value for their childs level.
- Coaches with players on team get a 0% discount since they are also financially compensated for coaching.
- Co-Positions are a 1/2 of the discount the Primary positions have.
- Team Reps may receive a 10% dues discount using the dues value for the level that their child plays of the team they are representing as a Team Rep. Generally the discount is comensurate to the level of effort that the Team Rep must contribute. The higher the level of the team, the more effort is required and thus a higher discount. (Statement corrected 1/31/08 consistent with past seasons policy and doing what is fair. Deleted the reference to the TR discount being a percentage of the -1 dues values. This was a typo and incorrect.)
- All players whose parents are coaches and / or are elected officers (Executive Board members) of CCVC shall be guaranteed positions on either a Development team, or on a Competitive team as a competitive player, (with the team level determined by the coaches during the tryout evaluations), as a method of exchange for their service to the Club. Should only one team level exist within that players age group, then this player shall be guaranteed a position on that single team level.
