This will be Coach Kaylan's second season with CCVC. Her inaugural 2006-2007 season was an outstanding representation of what CCVC is all about. Besides a CCVC coach she is a graduate of Sargent College with a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology. At BU, she played middle blocker for the BU club team for 4 years.
Coach Kaylan has been playing volleyball for 10 years including her time to lead Apex High School to the fourth round of State Playoffs in 2001 as a middle blocker. She was All-Conference in volleyball, basketball, as well as track her senior year and went on to be the Apex Female Athlete of the Year 2002.
She works as a Cardiovascular Technician in the Cath Lab at Duke Hospital. She was also pre-med at BU and is looking to apply to medical school and PA school.
For this season, Coach Kaylan will be co-coaching the 16-1 team along with her twin sister, Kiera, who has played with her for 10 years.
Coach is excited to share the love of volleyball at CCVC and to teach her team the fundamentals of the sport, have fun and win!!
