Executive Board Interest Survey
Please completely read this entire page and if interested, complete the Executive Board Interest Survey, at the bottom of the page, by May 18, 2008.

We have approached the time of the season to solicit interest from parents to run for a position as a CCVC Executive Officer (Elected Board members) for next season.

The terms for the elected Executive Officers and all Board members starts and ends

October 1 of each season and extends to a maximum of 2 years, except where
the General Membership votes for a Executive Board member's term extension.

Overall, each Executive Board role requires selfless leadership and undying
support for the Club's mission, while distancing yourself, as much as possible from the natural parental desire to "protect" your child. Of course all while balancing competing interests, agendas, coach, player and parent desires. Not an easy task! Now 300 families strong, up from 65 10 seasons ago, CCVC has been blessed to be able to provide the support for our young female athletes that want to play competitive volleyball.

If you have an interest in selfless participation, as part of the Executive Board, please complete the survey information below and in advance, THANK YOU for your interest. Now more than ever we need great people with a passion to serve our kids.

Parental involvement and selfless Executive Officer leadership is a mainstay of our Club. Without YOU there is no US.

We will likely hold a CCVC Executive Board INFORMATION MEETING to finalize your interest in a position as a CCVC Executive Officer (Elected Board members) for the next season. We feel this will aid in helping you as a potential CCVC leader It will also be helpful for the current Board to conduct these information meetings.

At the CCVC General Membership an electiuon will be help to select the Executive Board. This year's General Member meeting is to be held...on Sunday June 8th, 2008 at Cary Academy Dining Hall from 2-4 pm.

Overall, each Executive Board role provide selfless leadership and support for the Club's mission, while distancing yourself, as much as possible from the natural parental desire to "protect" your child. You must focus on representing CCVC with the highest degree of professionalism, integrity, ethics, positive support for the Coaches and fellow Board members and above all put the interest of CCVC and growing the sport of volleyball first.
