Coach Gwen Egbert
Six years later she led the South Titans to a runner-up finish in their first appearance at state. Prior to moving to Papillion-LaVista South, Egbert spent 16 season as Head Coach at Papillion-LaVista. While there she led her squad to 14 state tournament appearances, winning three consecutive state championships, and finishing as runner-up five times. She owns over 500 career victories.
Egbert also coaches for the Nebraska Juniors Volleyball club, taking the 18 and under team to two third place and three top 5 finishes in in the open division USAV nationals. She is the winning coach of the 2008-2009 USAV nationals 18s Champions.
Coach Egbert is a 1984 graduate of University of Nebraska-Lincoln. While at Nebraska she was an all conference volleyball player winning two Big 8 championships.
