Coach Heather returns to coach for Capital City Volleyball Club again this season as the Assistant Coach for the 16-1 team. This assignment follows 2 years with the Development program, assisting with the 14-3 team two seasons ago, and with the 16-3 team last season.

Coach started playing with CCVC in her freshman year of high school and after graduating from High School, felt a need to "give back" and coach for CCVC. She played on CCVC -1 teams each season of her 4 CCVC years. She also played at Cary High School all 4 years. In addition, Coach was also a USAV referee for the 2 years, and has done scorekeeping and officiating JO tournaments in the Carolina region.

Heather is currently a Senior in the College of Textiles at NC State. She is a member of the University Ambassador's program, a Senator for Student Government and is actively involved with the NCSU chapter of Campus Crusade for Christ as well as Nutrition "Peanuts," a program that teaches preschoolers about nutrition through book reading. For fun Coach Heather continues to play volleyball in the NCSU intramural program and can Facebook like a pro.

In her third season, she'll be the Assistant Coach with the CCVC 16-1 Competitive Team and looks to share the CCVC mantra of teaching "volleyball for life and not for a season".
