This is Coach Chelsea's inaugural year with Capital City Volleyball Club where she will be head coaching the 12-1 team. Coach is currently
Duke University -Director of Volleyball Operations, Coach White handles range of responsibilities including coordinating player recruiting trips and the Duke team road matches. She has served as the Tournament Director for the fall and spring home tournaments.
 
Coach also spent time as the Director of Volleyball Operations at the University of California, Berkeley. Her stint with the Golden Bears followed a year in which she served as an assistant to Dean Judy Olian at the UCLA School of Management and a stretch as a Client Service Associate at Smith Barney in Sacramento, CA. She also spent time interning with the non-profit organization Sports4Kids, which coordinates physical activity programs in public elementary schools with student populations of 50 percent or more free/reduced-lunch eligible children. White spent time as a research intern with Sports4Kids, which aims to improve the health and well-being of children by increasing opportunities for physical activity and safe, meaningful play.
 
As for volleyball? Coach is a 2006 graduate of Iona College, White was one of the Metro Atlantic Conference’s top liberos during her career with the Gaels. During her senior season, Coach was named the MAAC’s Defensive Player of the Year after leading the conference and ranking sixth nationally with an average of 6.12 digs per game. She also spent time playing at American River College in Sacramento, CA, where she was named the California All-State and All-Northern California Volleyball teams in addition to being named American River College’s 2004 Female Athlete of the Year.
 
At Iona, White was also a member of the Delta Epsilon Sigma National Honor Society with a 3.92 GPA. White holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, which she was awarded in 2006 at Iona, and a master’s in Education, which she recently earned from Cal-Berkeley in 2008.
