Coach Jess
This is Coach Jess's second season with Capital City Volleyball Club. Jess will again be leading the 13-2 team this season. After years of coaching volleyball at various levels and ages, she is stepping back into the world of club to coach and to show her love of the game, to teach "volleyball for life and not for a season".
Jess has played volleyball for over 22 years, leading her high school team to two consecutive AAA District Championships and a two year record of 47-3 her junior and senior years. She continued her volleyball career as a starting setter and outside hitter for four years at Albright College in PA, setting records in assists and serving aces. Jess is an elementary school teacher and a mom, and continues to play volleyball for fun as much as possible!
Jess has coached here in the area at Durham Academy, years ago as a middle school and 18s club coach, and more recently as a Varsity Coach. This past fall season Jess coached the 7th grade team, leading them to a 7-1 season. She enjoys working with this age group and loves teaching and sharing her passion for volleyball.
CCVC is very excited, pleased and happy to have Coach Jess become part of the "family".
