Coach Ashley Pinckney
This is Coach Ashley's third season with Capital City Volleyball Club. She will be coaching the 15-1 team with her co-coach from last season, Jamie Spencer. Ashley has been playing volleyball for 12 years starting in 7th grade in her hometown of Ely, Minnesota. Ashley played at the College of St. Benedict, in central Minnesota, during her collegiate career as a right-side hitter. While there, she earned several awards, including MIAC All- Conference, All-Region, and All-American Honorable Mention and lead her team into an appearance in the NCAA National Tournament. She continutes to play as much as she can in several leagues around the area.
Ashley moved down to North Carolina last year to attend UNC-CH and is currently earning her MS in the Biostatistics program.
Coach Ashley is a volleyball lifer that we will use to teach "volleyball for life and not for a season" and is very excited to share her love of the game with her new players!
