This will be Coach Enid's sixth season with Capital City Volleyball Club. As an indication of Coach's dedication to teaching the sport, Coach will again lead two CCVC teams, consistent with each of her last four seasons. We think she is crazy, but her kids LOVE the opportutnity to play for her!!

In the past seasons, she coached the 17-1 Platinum, the 13-2, 14-2 teams, and further back she also coached the 16 -2 (Championship Silver team, 2005), 14-2 (Championship Silver team, 2006), 17-1, and D4. She currently serves in her fifth year as the Head Volleyball Coach at Raleigh Charter High School. Coach Enid's Raleigh Charter High School team competed in the High School 1A Regional Championships in each of the last two seasons, with a huge fight, lost both years to the eventual State Champions.  This is an exceptional accomplishment for a small charter school and an indication of the coaching style and success Coach Enid delivers to her players.
Coach began playing volleyball in the 7th grade in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. She continued to compete through her first year of college. She coached a boy’s team while in Puerto Rico and after moving to the States in 1983 became an assistant coach at Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon. She moved to North Carolina in 1991. She continued to play competitively in regional tournaments with her Uncle at his army bases in Virginia and the Carolinas, and occasionally plays recreationally today.

Enid enjoys chilling with family, playing dominoes, dawdling on the computer, and watching baseball, football, volleyball…well, most any sport…on TV.

Coach is an avid adult player and volleyball teacher that focuses on fundamentals, fun and the love of the game.
