This is Coach Francois' sixth year with Capital City Volleyball Club. In addition to coaching, since the 2007-2008 season he has led the club as President, handling these responsibilities with the support of 9 year President Mike Malloy. For this current season he and Mike will help to transition the full operation to TCA, Team Complete Volleyball. This move is unprecedented for the Raliegh volleyball scene.
Also for this season, Coach Francois will return to coaching and lead our 16-1 team to even greater heights, helping grow the skills of those players that want to learn "volleyball for life and not for a season", all while watching his two daughter's play for CCVC.
Over the past seasons, starting in 2004-2005, he led the 13's team from the Copper division to the Gold division then to Nationals in Salt Lake City, UT. Another good season happened in 2006-2007, where in his 2nd season with a 13’s team, they won all of their In-Region tournaments except one and in this only non first place finish thew team finished second. In addition, in 2006-2007, his team won 2 Out-of-Region tournaments in the 14’s division and finished 3rd in the Shamrock Tournament 14’s division. Lastly, capping off the 2006-2007 season his team won the 13’s Gold Regional Championship and thus the bid to compete at Nationals in Minneapolis Minnesota. For 2007-2008 Coach is looking forward to another great season.
