Coach Lorriane returns this year for her eleventh season with Capital City Volleyball Club. WOW! She focuses on teaching the basic and fundamentals contributing to the success of our Development Team program for these many, many seasons. For this season Coach Lorriane will be working with the Special Position Academy clinics, and also coaching 2 teams with the 14s and 15s fulfilling the role of Head Coach. SHE IS THE CCVC SUPER COACH!!

She worked the last five seasons with the Greenhope High School JV volleyball program as the Head Coach of a young Falcons squad and also assisted the Greenhope High School Varsity squad for an unprecented performance by the Falcons again this school season.  

She has 32 years of coaching experience with 11 years as a College Coach at Bryant College D-II Women and Men. She spent 7 years as Physical Education teacher and Volleyball Coach at Warren High School.

During her career at Bryant College she was mamed to Hall of Fame as pioneer of the women's sports and most successful volleyball coach in the history of the college. She has coached Nationally ranked teams, named the Bryant College coach of the year, a winner of the New England Conference Champion and a State Playoff contenter.

Coach Lorriane's goal is to develop the basic skills and self esteem of young women so that they may compete at a higher level with confidence and have a positive attitude, consistent with our philosophy to teach "volleyball for life, not for a season".

Daughters Katie and Amy are avid volleyball fans and players, along with husband Jeff, their family's enthusiam for the sport comes from a dedicated Mom in Coach Lorriane.
