The dues to play for Capital City Volleyball Club vary depending on the Team Level, like participating on a Competitive Team or a Development Team. Below is an explanation of the "volleyball value" we provide to our families, where we share information about the dues, the coaches pay and expenses, and the overall operational costs of Capital City Volleyball Club. This is a way to assure, as a current or future Capital City Volleyball Club family member, you are aware of the value you get for your money.
With this said, Capital City Volleyball Club cannot be successful and operate as it is intended unless the families also fulfill their responsibilities as a Capital City Volleyball Club family member. As a method to address this, we created a parent Financial Responsibility form, which is a requirement for parent to sign, that demonstrates a FULL commitment to paying for the costs of the season and for completely participating financially with your team.
The costs to play for Capital City Volleyball Club are typically the best value of all clubs in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area when considering the complete program offering, such as the tournament schedule, the practice schedule the skills clinics and overall program quality. With our dues as low as $800 to $1000 for the Development Teams and for the Competitive Travel Teams are in the range of $1,100 to $2,500; based on the level of the team of -1, -2, -3, -4, -5 we are able to make our program available to nearly every player than wants to play competitive club volleyball. For payment of the dues, we collect these in two (2) installments for the Competitive Teams and one full installment for the Development Teams.
Select this link to see the Season Program and Dues. Also, note below the details on what the dues cover. NOTE: This document has been revised multiple times since the October release to address a) additional options for the -3, -4, -5 teams, adding a 18-2 team, correcting the various tournament dates.
The first dues installment is due at Signing Day, where a check for 50% of the Competitive Team dues will be collected with Practice Players paying 100% of their dues. Also, a check for 100% Development Teams dues is to be collected. All checks will be made to Team Complete Athlete aka TCA. A second installment, for the Competitive Teams will be collected no later than January 22, 2010 and submitted to your Team Rep.
For costs above the dues, we believe the Capital City Volleyball Club families are financially savy to handle their finances in these areas:
With this in mind, we also understand the team that "stays together - plays together", so Capital City Volleyball Club will help coordinate hotel accomations to assure the teams "stay" in the same hotel location, but these costs are covered by each of the individual families, not covered by the Club. Again, we do not burden the families with an extra travel cost fee to cover your hotel, or travel costs.
Lastly, Each player / parent shall register with USA Volleyball via the choice on the Quick Links menu. Being USAV registered is NOT a requirement to participate in our tryouts, but is a requirement for joining a CCVC team.
