Club Information

The Capital City Volleyball Club, hence CCVC, was formed in 1998 and is currently a non- profit, 501 (c)(3) organization. Within the limits of available gym space, coaches and parent volunteers to run the organization, CCVC offers the opportunity for junior athletes to participate in competitive volleyball offering multiple levels of competitive play for reasonable and cost-effective fees. We will be joining forces with the Southern California based Total Complete Volleyball or TCA, this and this will transition us to a non 501(c)(3), as we complete the TCA Advantage partnership to a full merger around Novermber 20, 2009.

CCVC has a dedicated group of parents and coaches who provide countless hours of support to grow the sport of volleyball in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. We offer many levels of play from the Development level to the National level catering to ages starting with 9-10 year old athletes to 18 year old, college bound athletes.

Parental involvement has been a backbone of CCVC which starts with the Executive Officer Board. This Executive Officer Board has provided the primary leadership for CCVC, and works along with the CCVC Board of Directors comprised of Club Coaches, and Team Representatives and Club Directors.

For the 2009- 2010 season and into the future, Capital City Volleyball Club is extremely excited to be joining forces with the Southern California based Total Complete Volleyball or TCA, http://www.tcavolleyball.com. This partnership will bring the TCA Advantage to CCVC and will:

• Raise the competitiveness bar
• Provide expert resources to further educate the coaching staff
• Expand CCVC's national and local recruiting options to Division I, Division II, Division III colleges
• Allow for further growth and development of volleyball in the Raleigh area

The 2009-2010 Leadership and Executive Board will consist of a collaborative group of members including:
